Tännäs Fiskecentrum has many years of experience in fish farming!

We have successfully farmed grayling since 1987.

The result is viable fish that we then plant out in our own waters or sell on to other associations!

We have a unique strain of grayling that we traditionally “tifiskar” (spawn fish), where the fish are squeezed on roe and milk so that we then get fertilized roe grains that then hatch in the fish farm.

Fishing has always had a great importance for Tännäs and with the help of our cultivation, we can ensure good and sustainable fishing! As early as the 1800s, there was a fishing supervisor employed in Tännäs and in 1931, the Tännäs fish conservation association was formed.
